Multiple Disabilities-Medically Intense (MDMI)

The MDMI program is designed for school age students with multiple disabilities who are also medically fragile and have intense cognitive, medical, and physical needs. The classroom is staffed with a teacher, assistant(s), and a Nurse who work collaboratively with related service providers (i.e. speech-language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists) to deliver modified academic instruction as well as teach functional and adaptive skills.

Students are placed in the MDMI program as determined by the IEP team and school district of residence.
