GET REAL

The GetREAL program (Get Ready for Employment and Life) operated by the Clermont County Educational Service Center provides students with disabilities direct instruction in employability / life skills and opportunities to apply those skills. Students in the program have completed their high school academic requirements, earned all credits needed for graduation, and have deferred taking a diploma. The GetREAL program is designed to successfully transition students into the world of work and independent living. After completing one year in the program, students may accept their diploma and exit school, request to participate in a second year of the program, or be referred to Project SEARCH, if eligible for RSC (Rehabilitation Services Commission). The student’s initial and continued placement and length of participation in the program is determined by the IEP team. Note that students in the GetREAL Program are exempt from certain school policies.

The GetREAL program is housed at our CEC-North campus. For more information, please contact the school directly.
