Tammy is responsible for the Clermont Educational Collaborative North Programs and upon request consultant work in schools on structured teaching and autism. Tammy earned a BS of Arts in Elementary Education with a licensure in Special Education from NKU and a MS in Science of Educational Administration from the University of Scranton. She has also been trained in multiple modalities in structured teaching, autism and behavioral support. Tammy has presented at several local events on both autism and behavioral supports. She is also an adjunct for Ashland University and has assisted teachers in learning how to work with students who have autism and/or are challenged with social communication concerns. Tammy has been involved in volunteer work as a fund raiser with many programs. She was awarded the Shriners Hospital Gold Book Award, the Katie Haumesser Foundation Outstanding Service Award, and the Autism Society Faces of Autism Award for her work with children and students. As a personal interest, Tammy is writing a book about the trials faced by both parents and schools when autism is present. She hopes to submit this work for potential publishing this coming year. She enjoys spending time with her family, her parents, her children and her grandchildren.
