Sharon Averwater, PhD, Assistant Superintendent

Dr. Sharon Averwater began working at the Clermont County Educational Service Center in 1993.  During her employment with CCESC she has served as the gifted coordinator, math consultant, curriculum department chair and is currently serving as the assistant superintendent.  As the assistant superintendent, her work focuses on human resources, licensure and legal issues related to the educational field.  Previous employments for Dr. Averwater include Assistant Professor in Education for Eastern Kentucky University, Research Associate at The Ohio State University, middle school mathematics teacher, gifted teacher/coordinator (k-12) and adjunct teaching for Wright State University, Ashland University and the University of Cincinnati.  Sharon Titus Averwater, her husband Thomas and son Thomas II live one mile from her family farm and two miles from Tom’s family farm in Stonelick Township, Clermont County, Ohio.
