Leadership Mentoring

Leadership Mentoring

Taking on a new administrative role can be challenging, overwhelming, and stressful. It is critical to provide on-going support for new principals, assistant principals, and/or deans of students given the increased expectation for student and school success.

Benefits to Districts:

  • Provide a consultant that would serve in the capacity of the assigned mentor for beginning principal programs and/or alternative licensure for administrator programs
  • Distribution of resources and professional development opportunities to support the new administrator in gaining best practice leadership skills
  • Access to a formalized plan to support the new administrator through the new challenges of decision-making, time management, data analysis, and managing the change process
