Dawn M. Betts, PhD, Director of Special Education, (513) 735-8300, betts_d@ccesc.org Dawn is the Director of Special Education for CCESC.  Her primary role is to develop, administer and provide oversight to the department of special education which includes approximately 20 programs and services to students with disabilities in the Clermont County School Districts.  Dr. Betts is a member of the Ohio Association of Pupil Services Administrators (OAPSA), the Ohio Speech-Language Hearing Association (OSLHA) and the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and has presented at the local, state and national levels.  Dawn earned a BS in communication disorders from Bowling Green State University and earned her MA and PhD in speech-language pathology from the University Cincinnati with an emphasis in language & literacy and educational administration.  She maintains her Ohio speech-language pathology board license, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence and her Ohio Department of Education licenses in speech-language pathology and education administration.  When away from work, Dawn enjoys reading, fitness and spending time with family and friends.
